GOSHEN -- A new Miss Elkhart County was crowned Saturday night at Goshen Middle School.

Mackenzie Klahr, 21, a student at Ball State University, was crowned Miss Elkhart County 2015 by outgoing Miss Elkhart County Gracie Lyons.

First runner up was Chloe Anagos, 22, a student at Ball State University.

Second runner up was Jessica DuBois, 18, a student at Saint Mary's College.

And third runner up was Kalin Meikle, 19, a student at Indiana University South Bend.


The 2015 Outstanding Teen was Alyssa Hochstetler, 16, a student at Northridge High School.

First runner up was Noelle Flora, 16, a student at Elkhart Central High School.

Second runner up was Adrianna Nettro, 16, a student at Elkhart Central High School.


Masters of ceremonies for the evening were Jackie (Jerlecki) Sharpley, Miss Indiana 2011 and a Goshen native, and her husband, Evan Sharpley, a former Notre Dame quarterback and owner of Sharpley Training.


Judging this year's event were: Ellie Patton, Chris Stewart, Amy Miller, Susan Ellington and Goshen Mayor Allan Kauffman. Auditors were Sheila Kish and Melissa DeFauw.
