AUTHOR AND ILLUSTRATOR

Adán Zepeda looks over his newly penned book while Nancy Glon, the book’s illustrator, signs a copy at Goshen Public Library. Looking on is library Executive Director Andrew Waters.

Goshen author Adán Zapeda and illustrator Nancy Glon recently published the second book in their series about a family of mice.

“The Land of Cheese” is about the ongoing adventures of four little mice and their mother who found a new home in a landfill after surviving a flood on the Mississippi River. This second book tells of their struggles with black birds and their search for food as well as their hope of finding their father, who is missing.

The previous book, “The Mouse Ark,” told about their perilous journey on a big log that floated them to this strange new land.

Both books will be available at The Christian Light and Life Bookstore, 119 E. Lincoln Ave., Goshen, as well as their other three books, “Apples For Life,” “Manzanas por Vida,” and “The Old Dog and the Coyote.” A book signing is scheduled for Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
