Main Street's new look

Angled parking is a new feature of the reconstructed Main Street in downtown Goshen.

GOSHEN — Goshen’s Main Street in the downtown area reopened Thursday with a new look.

Angled parking is now in place and the stoplights at Washington, Jefferson and Clinton streets are set to four-way red flashers. The intersections are now four-way stops and the speed limit is 25 mph.

The changes were made during Phase 2 reconstruction of the street to convert it from a four-lane state highway to a two-lane local road.
