Kari and Keirsten Miller, co-owners of Trend Clothing, celebrated the store’s grand opening Wednesday in Linway Plaza.

Trend Clothing is the latest clothing store to come to Goshen. On the shelves customers can find clothes for women and men, which is not common in local boutiques, according to the Millers.

“We wanted to do something different,” co-owner Kari Miller said, she and her daughter began work on the store two months ago. “We were trying to think what would set us apart from others.”

Aside from having an assortment of men’s clothing, Trend Clothing also is stocked with women’s clothing for all ages, including Jag Jeans and Silver Jeans. The store also offers plus-sized clothing for women, along with jewelry, socks and other fashion accessories.

“There’s a mix of everything in here,” Keirsten Miller said. She said she convinced her mom to help her open the store.

“I knew owning my own store is something I would want to do one day,” she said, “but this sort of came out of the blue.”

The store will be open Tuesday and Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Thursday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
