Chief Dedicates Outdoor Lab: Chief White Eagle, left, along with his wife, Bobbie Bear, officially dedicated the outdoor lab and shelter at Fairfield Jr.-Sr. High School Friday evening prior to the homecoming football game. Unfortunately rainy weather forced the ceremony into the school maintenance garage. A former television and movie celebrity who is also chief of the Algonquin tribes, White Eagle performed an Indian ceremony to dedicate the lab and told stories from Indian history. In addition the pond in the lab was officially named Rouch’s pond in honor of science teacher John Rouch, who has been instrumental in creating the outdoor lab.
