WAKARUSA — Employees of Agriflight spent Wednesday at at Eby Field-1174 preparing to spray a mosquito-targeting pesticide that evening.

Employees on Wednesday installed an Air Tractor 602 spray attachment onto a plane to disperse the pesticide being used to fight eastern equine encephalitis. The new attachment is set to spray 1 ounce per acre, the pilot said.

Two planes were expected to fly at 300 feet, with one starting in Bristol and the other in Elkhart.
