Medinas wed

Emily E. Swank and Juan J. Medina were married Aug. 1 at the Beach House in New Buffalo, Mich., by the Rev. Timothy Wilson, brother-in-law of the bride.

The bride is the daughter of Loretta and Donald Swank, Middlebury.

The groom is the son of Mirna and Pedro Medina, Asuncion, Paraguay.

Stacey J. Wilson, sister of the bride, was the matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Lauren Cikara, Jennifer Branham, Kimberly Hill, Lisa Milanese and Kelly Swank.

Austin Hart was the best man and Julio De La Cruz, Matthew Humphrey, Andres Medina, Rudy Monterrosa and Nick Shumaker were the groomsmen.

Kayla Wilson and Abigail Swank were the flower girls.

Marissa Munter, niece of the groom, was the vocalist, and Jim Matthews was the musician.

A reception for the couple took place at Pottowattomie Country Club, Michigan City.

After a wedding trip to Fernando de Noronha, Brazil, the couple resides in South Bend.

The bride graduated in 2001 from Grace College, Winona Lake. She is a senior benefits consultant for Crowe Horwath LLP, South Bend.

The groom graduated in 2001 from Goshen College, Goshen, and is an associate director of Latin American Sales for Moody’s Analytics, South Bend.
