Rahns wed

Whitney Christner and Jason Rahn were married June 27 at New Life Fellowship, Topeka.

The bride is the daughter of Jaynee and Steve Christner.

The groom is the son of Susie and Dave Rahn, Huntington.

The matron of honor was Ashli Engle. The maid of honor was Alison Rahn. Bridesmaids were Carli Oesch, Danielle Bowman, Michelle Tomczak, Shanna Schipper, Heather Reese and Christi Christner.

The bride’s personal attendants were Krystle King and Casey Sizemore.

The best men were Shea Thompson and Thad Frame. Groomsmen were Adam Christner, Seth Kimmel, Seth Lochmueller, Drew Hawkens, Jeremy Rodibaugh and Andrew Brauchla.

Guestbook attendants were Mary Ann Roth, Laura Lied, Stephanie Kier and Lauren Kier.

The flower girl was Calixandra Joachim. The ring bearers were Gavin Engle and Carric Joachim.

The pianist was Jake Bland. The vocalist was Mindi Martin. Gift carriers were Lauren King and Sydney Elphick.

A reception was held at Shipshewana Town Center, with Matt and Jill Reyenga as hosts and Sheryl Tuck and Sondra Yoder as cake servers.

The bride graduated from Westview High School in 2005 and from Indiana Purdue University Fort Wayne in May with a degree in speech therapy. She is a speech therapy intern in the Wa-Nee School System.

The groom graduated from Huntington North High School in 2003 and from Huntington University in 2007 with a degree in recreation and sports ministry.

He is a patrol officer with the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Department.

The couple resides in Middlebury.
