Warrens wed

Valia Jade Rassi and Joel Daniel Warren were married May 12 at Summit View Baptist Church, Greenville, S.C. The Rev. Don Lowrey, Travelers Rest, S.C., officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Gary Leonard and Juanita Lee (Penrose) Rassi, Elkhart.

The groom is the son of Daniel Robert and Brenda Jo (Gosset) Warren, Bay City, Mich.

The bride was attended by Nichole Hogan, Emma Litke and Valli Rassi, twin sister of the bride.

The groom was attended by Brian Miller, Hans Weinmueller and Kevin Anderson.

Ushers were Jonathan Custer and Erich Weinmueller.

Julia Eldred, pianist, and Sarina Moyer violinist, provided music.

A reception followed the ceremony at the church. Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Eldred served as hosts, and Vanessa Rassi, sister of the bride, and Annalysse Warren, sister of the groom, were servers.

After a trip to Boone, N.C., the couple resides in Greenville, S.C.

She is a 2003 graduate of Elkhart Baptist Christian School, Elkhart, and a 2007 graduate of Bob Jones University, Greenville. She is a seamstress at Cardinal Embroidery, Greenville.

He is a 1998 graduate of Calvary Baptist Academy, Midland, Mich., and a 2001 graduate of Bob Jones University, Greenville. He is a carpenter with The Finishing Touch, Greenville.
