Penningtons wed

Marie Elizabeth Boyer and Ashley Jake Pennington were married June 4 at Chapel at the Park, Gatlinburg, Tenn., by the Rev. Timothy J. McIntyre.

The bride is the daughter of Joann and Robin Boyer, Syracuse.

The groom is the son of Judy and Charles Pennington, Warsaw.

A reception for the couple took place June 21 at Mad Anthony’s Restaurant, Warsaw.

The bride is a 2002 graduate of Wawasee High School, Syracuse, and is a senior at DeVry University, Chicago, Ill.

The groom is a 1991 graduate of Lighthouse Christian Academy, Warsaw, and received an associate’s degree in marine electronics from Columbia College.

He is a Petty Officer First Class missile technician for the U.S. Navy at Kings Bay Naval Sub Base, Georgia.

After a wedding trip to Gatlinburg, Tenn., the couple resides in Jacksonville, Fla.
