Carpenters wed

Susan M. Yoder and Ronald R. Carpenter were married April 4 at Zion Chapel, Goshen, by the Revs. Ron Spyker and Steve Chupp.

The bride is the daughter of Janis and Raymond Yoder, Goshen.

The groom is the son of Dorothy and Roy Carpenter, Millersburg.

The bride chose Dawn Morehouse as her matron of honor and bridesmaids were April Blankenbaker, Shelly Fitch and Dottie Atherton.

Richard Carpenter, brother of the groom, was the best man and groomsmen were David Parcell, brother-in-law of the groom, Jim Parcell, nephew of the groom, and Matt Yoder, brother of the bride.

Ushers were the groom’s nephews, Erik Parcell and Sean Smuts.

Emily Parcell, niece of the groom, was the flower girl and Max Morehouse was the ring bearer.

Rex Terbush was the pianist and Kevin Koch served as worship leader and vocalist.

A reception for the couple took place at Greencroft Senior Center, Goshen, and was hosted by John and Marilyn Nymeyer.

After a wedding trip to Charleston, S.C., the couple resides in Goshen.

The bride graduated in 1987 from Goshen High School and in 1991 from Taylor University, Upland. She is employed by Walnut Hill Early Childhood Center, Goshen.

The groom graduated in 1982 from Fairfield High School, Goshen, and in 1987 from International Business College, Fort Wayne.

He is a computer paraprofessional at Fairfield High School, Goshen, and a part-time farmer.
