Millers wed
Leigh LaFargue and Corey Miller were married Nov. 3, 2007, at Magnolia Mound Plantation, Baton Rouge, La., by the bride’s brother, Phillip LaFargue II, officiant.
The bride is the daughter of Phillip and Mable LaFargue, Lake Charles, La.
The groom is the son of Steven and Melody Miller, Syracuse.
Attending the couple were Robin Spain, maid of honor, and Steve Miller as best man.
Chaleigh LaRocca, niece of the bride, was the flower girl and Nicholas LaRocca, nephew of the bride, was the ring bearer.
The bride’s sister, Lori LaRocca, was an honored attendant and reader.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Rebecca Babin, Ryan Caplinger and Steven Donnelly.
Special readings were given by Herpreet Singh and Kevin Duffy.
The reception followed the ceremony in the outdoor pavilion at Magnolia Mound, with the Pine Leaf Boys playing Cajun music.
After a wedding trip to Costa Rica, the couple resides in Baton Rouge.
The bride is a 1992 graduate of St. Louis High School, Lake Charles, and earned her bachelor’s degree in music education from Louisiana State University. She earned her master’s degree in landscape architecture from LSU. She is employed as a landscape architect by the Park and Recreation Department for the City of Baton Rouge.
The groom is a 1996 graduate of Goshen High School, Goshen. He earned his bachelor’s degree in art education from Louisiana State University. He is a graduate of the College of Oceaneering, Port of Los Angeles, Calif. He is employed as a trainer at the Fire and Emergency Training Institute, Division of LSU.
