2 people found dead at Michigan City shooting site

MICHIGAN CITY, Ind. (AP) — Authorities say two people have been found dead at the scene of a fatal shooting in northwestern Indiana.

LaPorte County Coroner John Sullivan says police arriving at a home in Michigan City around noon Sunday found two people dead.

WSBT-TV reports Michigan City police were investigating a fatal shooting at the home.

The latest deaths follow the shooting death of 24-year-old Simone Bush of Michigan City on Friday. Twenty-year-old Brian Jordan Taylor has been charged with felony murder in connection with her death.

Taylor is currently being held at the LaPorte County Jail. It's not clear whether he has an attorney.

Michigan City is about 25 miles east of Gary.
