RV boom shapes community
One man’s idea decades ago was picked up by many others and blossomed into an industry that provides jobs for tens of thousands of Elkhart County residents today.
A community coming together
It’s been a long, unsure road for the Goshen Community Relations Commission, but the group is finally hitting its stride.
What’s in a name?
At least a dozen parks, schools and athletic facilities in the Goshen area have been named as memorials to local educators, athletes and leaders in the past 50 or 60 years.
A trip down memory lane
Goshen is changing. I hear this from many people when I return home, and from some Goshen area visitors who we meet at our residential community here in Naples, Florida. But Goshen has been changing since it became a city back in 1831.
Sports helps carve our identity
So, what did our pioneers do for recreation? For the first settlers of Goshen in 1831, there was mainly fishing and hunting. But archives also reveal games like shinny, duck-on-the rock and run-sheep-run.
