Lloyd Miller, 66, sells insurance through Mutual Aid Ministries in Goshen. He was the chairman of the committee that established the first Week of Compassion in Goshen.
WHO WE ARE PROFILE: Michelle Marquis
A 1990 graduate of Goshen High School, Michelle Marquis, 40, went on to become a respected and successful engineer in the world of motorsports and auto manufacturing.
WHO WE ARE PROFILE: Randy Christophel
Randy Christophel was recently named president and chief executive officer of Indiana University Health Goshen.
WHO WE ARE PROFILE: Scott Chupp
After growing up in Millersburg, graduating from Fairfield High School and working for years in the RV industry, Scott Chupp, 35, took a leap of faith, moving to Arizona and becoming a U.S. Border Patrol agent.
WHO WE ARE PROFILE: David Shenk
David Shenk is a 2009 Goshen College graduate. He is one year into his two-year term of working with Colombian refugees in Quito, Ecuador, through the Mennonite Mission Network.
WHO WE ARE PROFILE: Dr. Alexander N. Starodub
Dr. Alexander N. Starodub is a medical oncologist and hematologist at IU Health Goshen Center for Cancer Care and has been in Goshen for a year. He has extensive experience in gastrointestinal cancer treatment.

INTRODUCTION: We are a community that goes way beyond statistics
We dedicated the pages of our annual progress edition to an informal examination of who we are as a community. It’s a sample size and there are sure to be omissions, but the people in this publication serve as excellent representatives to what we’re trying to illustrate.
There are few people in Elkhart County more dedicated to the push for sustainability than Paul Steury. And according to Steury, that message appears to be gaining ground in Goshen.
