Gertie M. Miller, 87, died Tuesday at her home.
She was born Oct. 2, 1925 in Topeka to Magdalena Yoder. She preceded her in death.
Living her lifetime in LaGrange County, Mrs. Miller was a homemaker and member of the Old Order Amish Church.
On March 30, 1948, she married Joas E. Miller in Topeka He died March 14, 2001.
She is survived by her three daughters and two sons-in-law, Treva Mae and Joseph W. Miller of LaGrange, Irene Louise and Elmer Yoder of Middlebury, and Freda Luella Fike of Phoenix, Ariz.; two sons and daughters-in-law, Vernon Tobias and Carolyn Miller of LaGrange, and Ernest Enos and MaryEllen Miller of McBain, Mich.; 26 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
Also preceding her in death was a son-in-law, Larry Fike.
There will be a time of visitation today after 2 p.m. and all day Thursday at the family residence, 1175 W. 300 South, LaGrange, where a funeral service will begin at 9:30 a.m. Friday. Bishop Eli P. Miller and the home ministers will officiate.
Burial will follow in Miller Cemetery in rural LaGrange.
