DUNEDIN, Fla. —
Terry Allan Cobb, 62, formerly of Goshen, Ind., and Salamanca, N.Y., died unexpectedly in his home Monday.
He was born in California Sept. 11, 1950, the son of the Rev. Gerald R. and Tiny Holzer Cobb. Terry’s father served as pastor of the United Church of Christ in Goshen and the Cobbs lived on South Fifth Street in Goshen prior to the family moving to New York.
Terry attended Chandler Elementary School, Whiteman Junior High School and Goshen High School while living in Indiana. He graduated from Salamanca Central High School in 1969 and from Syracuse University in 1973.
He was self employed in the home improvement business for most of his life in Houston, Texas, and Florida. Most recently, he was employed at a nursing-care facility in Dunedin.
Terry enjoyed sailing, home-improvement projects, time with his friends and vacationing on the Upper Peninsula of Michigan
He is survived by a sister, Ginger (Walt) Malak, Randolph, N.Y.; and a brother, Gary (Cathy) Cobb, Pinole, Calif.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father.
No funeral services or visitation will be conducted. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
