GOSHEN — Martha Pauline Miller, 49, died at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at her residence. She had been in declining health since being diagnosed with Lou Gehrig’s disease in September 2012.
She was born Feb. 22, 1964, in LaGrange, to LeRoy P. and Mary (Slabach) Miller.
On June 14, 1984, in Topeka, she married Christy Miller Jr. He survives.
Survivors in addition to her husband are two daughters, Diane (Marion) Bontrager of Topeka and Lorinda (Devon) Yoder of Middlebury; three sons, Darrin (Sharon) Miller of Goshen, Lyndon (Lorena) Miller of Millersburg and Ryan Miller at home; seven grandchildren; her parents in Topeka; four sisters, Naomah (Omer) Miller of Topeka, Clara (Dennis) Yoder of Middlebury, Lena (Wayne) Fry and Joan (Larry) Herschberger of Topeka; and three brothers, Mervin (Kathern) Miller of Shipshewana, Vernon (Betty) Miller of Millersburg and Richard (Waneta) Miller of Topeka.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
Visitation will be all day Friday at the family’s residence. Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, also at the family’s residence. Services will be conducted by Bishop Perry Jr. Wingard and the home ministers.
Burial will be in Honeyville Cemetery, Topeka.
Miller-Stewart Funeral Home, Middlebury, is in charge of arrangements.
