GOSHEN — Terry L. Nonnemacher, 61, died Monday at 6:31 p.m. at IU Health Goshen Hospital.
He was born June 23, 1952 in Giles County, Pulaski, Tenn., to Jessie and Nervia Louise (McClure) Cox.
At Ox Bow Chapel Sept. 26, 1988, he married Mary Elise (Orr) Nonnemacher. She survives.
Also surviving are his four children, Stuart (Lisa) Scott, Torrance, Calif., Jayne Anne (Terry) Moles, Terry E. Nonnemacher and Daniel J. (Crystal) Piehl, all of Goshen; three sisters, Linda (Gene Allen) Tabor, Elkhart, Marie Brewer, Vandalia, Mich., and Cathy Cox, Nashville, Tenn.; 14 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and former wife, Gladys Jane (Gibson) Nonnemacher, whom he was first married to and later divorced.
He worked as a tool and die maker at North Central Machine and Arrow Tool. He was also an antique dealer, musician and a wonderful handyman and craftsman. He was a member of the EBB Tides, a well-known musical group, and loved to play pool.
There will be a time of visitation Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Rieth-Rohrer-Ehret Funeral Home, 311 S. Main St., Goshen.
A graveside service will take place at 10 a.m. Saturday at Yellow Creek Cemetery.
