DUBLIN, Ga. —
Margaret Schwartz, 97, formerly of Goshen, passed away Thursday.
She was born Jan. 18, 1916, in Luana, Clayton County, Iowa, to Frank Martin Albert Kuhse and Louise Albertine (Mueller) Dorman. Following the death of father, she was adopted by her stepfather, John Dorman.
She married Donald Elmer Schwartz, Nov. 5, 1936, in Des Moines, Iowa.
She is survived by a son, Ronald (Elizabeth Ann) Schwartz, Dublin, Ga.; a daughter, Ragene L. (Edward) Fortier, Seneca, S.C.; four grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Iris Vana, Carbondale, Ill., and Leverne Brown, Las Cruces, NM.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a grandson, Ronald John Schwartz; and two brothers, Walter and Donald Dorman.
A matron of the Eastern Star, Mrs. Schwartz retired from Johnson Controls, where she worked in payroll.
Friends may call 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, where an 11 a.m. committal service will be conducted.
Burial will follow in Violett Cemetery.
