GOSHEN — Lincoln James Torok, 11 weeks, passed away at IU Health Goshen Hospital at 1:33 a.m. Sunday

He was born Nov. 1, 2013 in Goshen, to Nicholas Robert and Michelle Rebecca (Beacham) Torok.

He is survived by his parents and two brothers, Jackson Beacham and Franklin Torok, all of Goshen; maternal grandparents, Jonathan and Judy Beacham of Elkhart; paternal grandparents, Nicholas and Colleen Torok of Dunlap; maternal great-grandmother, Dorothy Beacham of Elkhart; paternal great-grandfather, Robert Torok of Dunlap; and paternal great-grandmother, Shirley Bailey of Elkhart. Also surviving are two uncles, Andrew (Deborah) Beacham of Virginia and Samuel Beacham of Elkhart; three aunts, Annamarie Beacham and Melissa Chavez, both of Elkhart, and Abigail (Brant Hartman) Torok of Dunlap.

Visitation for Lincoln will be Saturday from 10 a.m. until the 11:30 a.m. service at First Baptist Church in Bristol. The Rev. Dave Hills will officiate.

Memorial contributions for Lincoln may be given to Riley Children’s Hospital. Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral, Elkhart, is entrusted with the arrangements.

There has been discussion at West Goshen Elementary School to require mandatory student uniforms in the future. How do you feel about the prospect of mandatory student uniforms in a public school environment?

I think it’s an excellent idea that is way overdue
