MILLERSBURG — Jerry Wayne Miller, 22, died at 6:32 p.m. Tuesday at Memorial Hospital, South bend. He died as the result of injuries sustained from an auto accident on C.R. 37, just north of C.R. 38 Monday evening.

He is survived by his parents, Norman and LeAnna (Lambright) Miller, Millersburg; three sisters, Sherrill (Wayne) Bontrager, Millersburg, Velma Miller and Rebekah Miller, both at home; two brothers, Kevin (Marlene) Miller, Millersburg and Lyle Miller, at home; grandparents, Freddie and Mary Ellen Miller, Millersburg.

Friends may call after 2 p.m. today and all day Friday at the family residence, 10319 C.R. 38, Millersburg.

Funeral services will begin at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the Vernon Jay Miller residence, 64310 C.R. 43, Goshen.

Burial will be in Southeast Clinton Cemetery, Goshen.

Miller-Stewart Funeral Home, Middlebury, is in charge of arrangements.

There has been discussion at West Goshen Elementary School to require mandatory student uniforms in the future. How do you feel about the prospect of mandatory student uniforms in a public school environment?

I think it’s an excellent idea that is way overdue
I think it’s a bad idea and would be restrictive for students and parents.
