GOSHEN — Irma M. Yoder, 83, died early Thursday morning at Greencroft Goshen Health Care.
She was born April 23, 1930 in North Webster, to William Henry and Amanda (Miller) Miller.
On Oct. 14, 1950, she married Enos D. Yoder at Griner Mennonite Church in Middlebury. He died Aug. 25, 2010.
She is survived by her eight children, James (Cheryl) Yoder, Goshen, Lois (Duane) Miller, New Paris, Nina (David) Stoltzfus, Lititz, Pa., Enos (Monica) Yoder Jr., Goshen, John (Janine) Yoder, Ellensburg, Wash., Steven (Tina) Yoder and Daniel (Karen) Yoder, both of Goshen, and Mark (Cindy) Yoder, Carmel; 20 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Catherine Brenneman, Dowagiac, Mich.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a great-grandson, Luque Petersheim; her brothers, Roman, Sam, Bill and Albert Miller; and her sisters, Lydia Bontrager, Marion Liechty, Alma Miller, Sovinah Schrock and Wilma Yoder.
Mrs. Yoder was a lifetime area homemaker who was known for her beautiful wedding cakes. She was a member of Mount Joy Mennonite Church, Goshen.
Visitation with the family is set to take place Sunday from 1 to 6 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, Goshen, and one hour prior to the 10 a.m. funeral service Monday at Mount Joy Mennonite Church. The Rev. Ben Shirk of the Mount Joy church and Mrs. Yoder’s nephew, the Rev. Gary Miller of Maple City Chapel, will officiate.
Burial will follow at Miller Cemetery, Goshen.
