Joanne Ruth Miller

June 10, 1935-March 24, 2013

WAKARUSA — Joanne Ruth Miller, 77, passed away Sunday.

She was born to Russell and Dorothy Anderson June 10, 1935, in Detroit, Mich. Joanne graduated in 1953 from Plymouth High School, Plymouth, Mich. and attended Goshen College.

She married Elmer F. Miller in February 1958. They have resided in Wakarusa since 1969.

Joanne was retired from Holiday Rambler Corporation. She was also an active member of the Wakarusa Missionary Church, Maranatha Bible Study and The Homemakers Club.

She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Elmer F. Miller; children, Steven Miller of Bremen, Susan Raisch of Ramsey, N.J. and Todd Miller of Nappanee; daughters-in-law, Pam and JoLynn; son-in-law, Todd Raisch; granddaughters, Tonya Hundt, Kate and MaCauley Miller and Elly and Halle Raisch; grandson-in-law, Scott Hundt; great grandson, Gavin Hundt; and sisters, Irene Fedorenko of Wakarusa and Frances Cranford of Bartlett, Tenn.

The family will receive friends from 9 a.m. until the 11 a.m. service Saturday at Wakarusa Missionary Church, 202 W. Waterford St., Wakarusa.

Burial will follow at Olive West Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wakarusa Missionary Church Missions Fund.
