Angela M. Christner, 38, formerly of Goshen, went to be with our Lord at 9:36 p.m. Sunday, surrounded by her family and loved ones.
She died at IU Health Goshen Hospital.
She was born Nov. 24, 1974 in Goshen, to Duane and Linda (Christner) Stickel.
She is survived by her children, Jasmine Holmes and Jason Holmes of Goshen; mother and stepfather, Linda (Duane) Stickel, Middlebury; brother, Aaron Stickel, Middlebury; maternal grandparents, Elmer and Amanda Christner, Goshen; uncle, Mark (Ellen) Christner, Goshen; and aunt, Sandy (Dennis) Beard, Elkhart.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Raymond and Lois Stickel.
She was employed by Wings Etc. in Goshen and was baptized at Calvary Assembly Church in Goshen.
Angela loved life and lived it to the fullest. She clearly had a compassionate heart to help others. Her smiles were contagious. She enjoyed gardening, music, guitar, flowers, cooking, bike riding, watching movies and especially spending time with her family. She devoted her life to her kids and will always be in our hearts.
There will be a time of visitation Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Rieth-Rohrer-Ehret Funeral Home, 311 S. Main St., Goshen.
A funeral service will take place Thursday at 10 a.m. at Sugar Grove Church, 58512 Old C.R. 17, Goshen. The Rev Rick Gering of Sugar Grove Church and the Rev. Rhonda Dorn of Union Center Church of the Brethren in Nappanee will officiate.
Memorial contributions can be made to a trust fund for Jasmine and Jason.
