FORT WAYNE —
Violet H. Adam, 93, passed away Wednesday at her home in Fort Wayne. She was a native and lifetime resident of Fort Wayne and graduated from South Side High School 1937.
Violet was a loving wife, mother and homemaker. She was a former member of Simpson United Methodist Church. Her hobbies included making crafts, playing euchre and spending time with her family at the lake, fishing and at cookouts.
She is survived by her sons, Timothy (Linda) Adam of Fort Wayne, and Terry (Chris) Adam of Goshen; brother, Jack McNeal of Fort Wayne; seven grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.
Violet was preceded in death by her loving husband of 57 years, Joseph M. Adam, who passed away in 1999; her parents, Guy and Lillie Pearl McNeal; and her brothers, Ralph Dale, Virgil Glen and Paul McNeal.
Friends may call Monday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and one hour prior to the Tuesday funeral service at 10 a.m. at D.O. McComb & Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Road, Fort Wayne. The Rev. Robert Arenobine will officiate.
Burial will be in Covington Memorial Gardens, Fort Wayne.
