Rosevelyn Wantz, 94, formerly of Goshen, died Sunday at 4:30 a.m. at her daughter’s residence.
She was born March 11, 1918, in Goshen, to Louis and Leota (Green) Mougeotte. On Feb. 1, 1940, in Goshen, she married Willis Wantz. He died Oct. 20, 1975.
Surviving are a daughter, Marsha (Ron) Schrock, Elkhart; a son, Michael (Michelle) Wantz, Goshen; 10 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a great-grandson, Willis Wantz; her parents; her husband; a sister, Margaret Chattin; and a brother, Maurice Mougeotte.
She worked in accounting at Goshen Stamping and Tool and also worked at Elco Title Corp. and Yoder, Ainly, Ulmer & Buckingham for 35 years where she retired in 2000.
She was a member of St. John The Evangelist Catholic Church and a 1936 graduate of Goshen High School.
Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Rieth-Rohrer-Ehret Funeral Home, Goshen. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. John The Evangelist Catholic Church. Burial will be in Violett Cemetery.
