KIMMELL — Bonita M. Lemon, 72, of Kimmell, died Saturday at Parkview Noble Hospital in Kendallville.  

She married Philip K. Lemon Feb. 8, 1958 in Wawaka. He died Jan. 25, 2000.

She is survived by two sons, David W. (Faith) Lemon, Ligonier and Brian L. Lemon, Kimmell.  

A funeral service will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Kimmell United Methodist Church. Burial will be at Sparta Cemetery in Kimmell.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Yeager Funeral Home and one hour prior to the funeral at the church on Friday.

There has been discussion at West Goshen Elementary School to require mandatory student uniforms in the future. How do you feel about the prospect of mandatory student uniforms in a public school environment?

I think it’s an excellent idea that is way overdue
I think it’s a bad idea and would be restrictive for students and parents.
