Rebecca I. Sink, 73, died early Saturday morning at her home. She had been in declining health the past few years.
She was born Jan. 17, 1939, in Goshen, to Lavon “Ike” and Thelma (Gardner) Mellinger.
On April 6, 1958, she married Ronald C. Sink at the First Brethren Church in Goshen. He survives.
Also surviving is a daughter, Stacey L. Sink, Goshen; a son, Danny (Diane) Sink, Elkhart; grandsons, Ryan and Bradley Sink; and a brother, Benjamin Mellinger, Spokane, Wash.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and a son, Bradley Scott Sink.
Mrs. Sink was a member of the Goshen High School Class of 1957, a lifelong area resident and homemaker. She worked part-time at The Goshen News and volunteered with hospice for four years.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. Thursday prior to a 1:30 p.m. funeral service, all at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. The Rev. Ron Spyker will officiate.
Burial will follow at West Goshen Cemetery.
Pallbearers include Kenton Miller, Tobie Mast, Ray Yoder, Byron Roth, Ryan Sink and Bradley Sink, and honorary pallbearer Christopher Finney.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Scott Sink Memorial Fund through Jefferson Brethren Church.
