GOSHEN — William “Fred” Pierce, 47, died Wednesday morning at his home.
He was born July 29, 1965 in New Castle, to James D. and Patricia E. (Butler) Pierce.
On March 17, 2006 in Goshen, he married Penny O’Fallon.
She survives along with his father, James D. Pierce, Goshen; son Josh Pierce, Goshen; stepdaughter, Autumn Branham, Elkhart; two stepsons, John Paul Branham, Utah, and Christopher Branham, South Bend; eight stepgrandchildren; two sisters, Crystal (Bruce) Purvis, Goshen, and Melony Long, White Pigeon, Mich.; and a brother, Terry Maloyed, Goshen.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
Fred was a throat cancer survivor. He had worked many years at Forest River RV. He had recently worked as a gas attendant at Kroger.
Friends may call Friday from 4 p.m. until the 7 p.m. memorial service at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, Goshen. The Rev. Ted Carroll of Spirit of Faith Fellowship will officiate.
His body will be cremated.
