GOSHEN — Jerry D. Sailor, 76, died of natural causes early Sunday morning at his home.

He was born Jan. 23, 1937, in Goshen, to Jesse B. and Mary E. (Bates) Sailor.

He is survived by a son, Jesse D. Sailor, Goshen; a daughter, Stacy R. (Daryl) Wright, Jones, Mich.; four stepchildren; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a niece, Cheri Ryan-Miller; and his loving dog, Carmella.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Nikki, who died Nov. 18, 2010; and a sister, Phyllis J. Minard.

He was a 1955 Goshen High School graduate. He owned Kustom Kut Barber Shop for many years with his best friend, Larry Hubbard.

There is no visitation planned. His body will be cremated.

Friends and family may meet at 2 p.m. Friday at Violett Cemetery in Goshen for a graveside service.

Memorial contributions may be directed to Riley Hospital for Children.
