Albert E. Langolf

Aug. 19, 1935-May 19, 2013

FORT GRATIOT, Mich. — Albert E. Langolf, 77, was reunited Sunday with his beloved wife, Patricia; grandson, Benjamin; and parents, Daniel and Rose Langolf.

He was born Aug. 19, 1935 in Port Huron.

He married Patricia J. Ferguson Dec. 11, 1954 in Port Huron.

Albert graduated from Port Huron High School in 1953 and was a cook in the National Guard. He was the human resources manager at Prestolite, a consultant for Associated Church Builders Inc. He owned Beltline Auto Electric, established Landmark Real Estate and retired as a broker in 2010.

Albert and his wife were ministers of music in the Nazarene and Wesleyan Churches for more than 40 years. They were members of Colonial Woods Missionary Church. Albert was a longtime member of Gideon’s International.

He leaves to honor his legacy his daughters, Diane Langolf of Port Huron, Lori (Scott) Roth of Goshen, Ind., Lisa (Paul) Agosta of Fort Gratiot and Debra (James) DiMoff of Marshall; grandchildren, Adam and Jaime DiMoff, Michael, Aaron and Aston Agosta; brothers, Harold (Delores) Langolf of Marysville and Alex (Sharon) Langolf of Port Huron; and five nephews.

Visiting hours will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Pollock-Randal Funeral Home, 912 Lapeer Ave., Port Huron.

Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. Thursday at Colonial Woods Missionary Church, Port Huron. Dr. Gary Henecke will officiate.

Burial will follow in Lakeside Cemetery. Michael Agosta, James DiMoff, Scott Roth, Dan Langolf, Mark Langolf and Steve Langolf will serve as pallbearers.

Memorials may be directed to the “Little House that Ben Built” and Gideon’s International.
