LIGONIER —Geneva R. Nibblett, 91, passed away Monday.
She was born March 10, 1922, to Andrew and Lula (Isbell) Aaron in Sipsey, Ala.
On April 13, 1946, she married Eugene Nibblett. He preceded her in death May 26, 1995.
Mrs. Nibblett was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening and working in her flower gardens. Geneva loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a strong woman of faith and believed in the power of prayer. Geneva loved mentoring and discipling others in the Lord and was very active in the church. .
She is survived by two daughters, Myra Yelton, Ligonier and Lawana (John) Marcisz, Calumet City, Ill.; three grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Dorothy (Ned) Holley of Russellville, Ala.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one sister, two brothers, one grandchild, three great-grandchildren and a son-in-law.
There will be a time of visitation today from 4 to 8 p.m. and one hour prior to the 10 a.m. funeral service Saturday at Stone’s Hill Community Church, 151 Stone’s Hill Road, Ligonier. The Revs. Joey Nelson and Brad Cooper will officiate.
Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Topeka.
