Marilyn Taylor

WAWAKA — Marilyn Taylor, 72, passed away Tuesday.

She was born Sept. 24, 1940, to William and Beulah (Shrock) Whirledge in Goshen.

On Sept. 24 she married Ellis Loyd Taylor. He preceded her in death in October 2006.

Mrs. Taylor was a lifetime area resident and enjoyed fishing, bicycling and most outside activities. She had worked for Essex Wire for 25 years.

She is survived by two sisters, Arlis Krenicky and Almeda Zumbrun, both of Millersburg; one brother, Alden Whirledge of Elizabethton, Tenn.; one niece; and one nephew.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

There will be a funeral service held in Mrs. Taylor’s honor Saturday at 1 p.m. at Wawaka Church of the Brethren with Pastor Verne Leininger officiating. The family will host a luncheon at 11 a.m. with viewing one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Clinton Brick Cemetery, Millersburg.

There will be a time of visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at the Wawaka Church of the Brethren.
