Mona Lisa Mary Ledeczi

 ELKHART — Mona Lisa Mary Ledeczi, 62, passed away at 11:17 a.m. Saturday at Elkhart General Hospital.

She was born May 13, 1950 in Canada, to Fred and Mary (Erikson) Cox.

Surviving is a daughter, Laura K. (JJ) Garcia of Goshen; a grandson, Troy Garcia; and a sister, Marg (Mike) Gooderham of Ontario, Canada.

Mona was formerly employed as a registered nurse. She enjoyed helping others, crocheting hats, scarves and mittens for others and cooking.

A celebration of life service will take place today at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Faith Mission in Elkhart.

Elkhart Cremation Services is assisting the family with arrangements.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Faith Mission, 801 Benham Ave., Elkhart, IN 46516.

Goshen City Council member Dixie Robinson is asking residents to make an effort to clean up their yards this spring. The city’s Dial-A-Truck program is available to haul trash away. Do you think there are more unsightly properties in Goshen this year than five years ago?
