GOSHEN — Charlotte Y. Lynch, 73, died Tuesday at 2:03 a.m. at her residence.
She was born Feb. 24, 1940 in Kendallville, to Glen and Joyce (Smith) Lawson. She spent her early childhood in Menifee County, Ky., on her grandparent’s tobacco farm.
She married Lyle G. Lynch Nov. 16, 1957, in Kendallville.
She is survived by her husband; children, Karen Shoup, Deanna Lynch, Kenny Lunch and Michael Lynch, all of Goshen; sister, Bonnie (Larry) Eysol, Goshen; brother, Chuck (Patti) Lawson, South Bend; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father.
She retired from NIBCO of Goshen in 1980 and worked as a bartender at Club 33 in Goshen for several years. She was a member of the Apostolic Pentecostal Church of Goshen.
Friends may call Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. and one hour prior to the funeral service Saturday at 1 p.m. at Rieth-Rohrer-Ehret Funeral Home, 311 S. Main St., Goshen. The Rev. Larry Eysol will officiate.
Burial will be in Violett Cemetery, Goshen.
