GOSHEN — Allen O. Shively, 86, passed away Wednesday at Courtyard Healthcare in Goshen.

He was born Oct. 14, 1926 in Kosciusko County, to Frank and Inez (Roberts) Shively.

He owned and operated Colbin Tool in Syracuse for many years. He was a member of the Calvary United Methodist Church as well as the Society of Manufacturing Engineers.

He is survived by his wife, Millie Shively, Goshen; three daughters, Trudy Shively, Goshen, Sally (James) Whitehead, Syracuse, and Linda (Michael) Sheline, Syracuse; son, Garry Shively, Syracuse; two stepdaughters, Jackie (Marvin) King, Glendale, Ariz., and Becky (Robert) Johnson, Goshen; five grandchildren; and two stepgrandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a stepson, a brother and a sister.

Friends may call today from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Eastlund Funeral Home, Syracuse, where services will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday. The Rev. Jerry Turner will officiate.

Burial will follow at Syracuse Cemetery.
