NEW PARIS —
H. Lloyd Lantz, 82, died Sunday at 8:52 a.m. at his residence.
He was born June 6, 1931 in LaGrange County, to Wilbur H. and Dola V. (Long) Lantz.
He married Candace Eleanor Lantz April 21, 1953, in New Paris.
He is survived by his wife; two sons, Mark Lantz, New Paris, and Stephen (Nina) Lantz, Bethel, Ohio; daughter, Laurie Lisa Sukow, Penticton, British Columbia; two brothers, Robert (June) Lantz and Charles (Rosey) Lantz, both of Syracuse; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Mabel Robison and Sharron Cannon.
He was discharged in 1953 from the United States Marines after serving in Korea. He was a member of Disabled American Veterans Post 15, the American Legion and attended People’s Bible Church, Benton.
He retired from the production department of Liberty Homes where he worked for 43 years.
Friends may call Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and one hour prior to the 1 p.m. funeral service Friday at Rieth-Rohrer-Ehret Funeral Home, 311 S. Main St., Goshen. The Rev. John Randolph of People’s Bible Church will officiate.
Burial will be in Whitehead Cemetery, New Paris.
