LAGRANGE — Annie J. Miller, 89, died at 2:30 a.m. Tuesday at her residence.
She was born on Sept. 23, 1923 in LaGrange, to Jacob and Emma (Christner) Mast.
On March 16, 1944, she married Levi J.S. Miller. He died March 4, 1985.
She is survived by her four sons, Melvin (Bonita) Miller and Jonathan Miller, both of Middlebury, Henry (Ida Anna) Miller of Clayton, Wis., and Vernon (Susie) Miller of Shipshewana; two daughters, Esther (Martin) Miller of LaGrange and Marietta Lehman of Shipshewana; 32 grandchildren; 91 great-grandchildren; a sister, Esther (LaMar) Miller of Sturgis, Mich.; and a brother, Ora (Effie Mae) Mast of Shipshewana.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; four brothers, Melvin, Amos, Ervin and Henry Mast; sister, Ella Miller; and two great-grandchildren. She was a homemaker and a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
Friends may call today after 2 p.m. and all day Thursday at the family residence, 3465 N. 425 West, LaGrange, where funeral services will take place at 9:30 am. Friday. Services will be conducted by Bishop Mahlon Lambright and the home ministers.
Burial will be in East Barren Cemetery, Shipshewana.
