Harold Raymond ‘Red’ Barkdull III

March 6, 1981-July 18, 2013

— WOLCOTVILLE — Harold Raymond “Red” Barkdull III, 32, died Thursday at IU Health Goshen Hospital.

He had resided in Sturgis for 10 years, then moved to Goshen before returning to Wolcottville. Mr. Barkdull worked for Godfrey Marine in Goshen.

He was born March 6, 1981 in LaGrange, to Harold R. Barkdull Jr. and Karen (Ralston) Barkdull.

He is survived by his father and stepmother, Harold R. Barkdull Jr. and Sherry Barkdull of Wolcottville; his mother and stepfather, Karen and Steve Napier of Sturgis, Mich.; his twin son and daughter, Lucas Micah Barkdull and Airya Grace Barkdull of Goshen; a sister and brother-in-law, Rachel and Brandon Greer of Hopkinsville, Ky.; maternal grandmother, Carolyn Vogel of Wolcottville; and maternal grandfather, Eldon and Darlene Ralston of Fish Lake.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Harold and Betty Barkdull.

Calling will be Sunday from 2 to 6 p.m. at Young Family Funeral Home, Wolcottville Chapel, Ind. 9 North, Wolcottville.

There will be no funeral service.

Preferred memorials may be made to his children in care of Farmers State Bank.
