Lois Walbridge, 91, died Saturday at Kosciusko Community Hospital.
She was born Feb. 21, 1921 in Pearl, Colo., to E.R. and Luella (Jones) Haworth.
On May 10, 1942, she married George E. Walbridge.
She was a longtime resident of both Syracuse and Lighthouse Point, Fla. She taught high school in Michigan for many years. She also co-owned the Smith-Walbridge Camp in Syracuse. She was a member of St. Andrew’s United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her son, George R. Walbridge, Syracuse, and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, who died in 2004; a son, William Walbridge; and a brother, Jerry Haworth.
A memorial service will take place Friday at 11 a.m. at St. Andrew’s United Methodist Church, Syracuse, with Pastor Mark Eastway officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to the WACF or to St. Andrew’s United Methodist Church.
