Arrangements pending

Beulah Y. Philbrook, 91, Elkhart, died after an extended illness at Kindred Nursing and Rehabilitation Center Valley View in Elkhart Sunday evening. Her remains have been donated to the Indiana University Anatomical Education Program in Indianapolis. Other arrangements are pending at Billings Funeral Home, Elkhart.

Larry L. Lower, 68, Goshen, died Tuesday morning at Elkhart Hospice House; Rieth-Rohrer-Ehret Funeral Home, Goshen

James Curtis Barber, 76, died Tuesday at Elkhart General Hospital; Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, Goshen

There has been discussion at West Goshen Elementary School to require mandatory student uniforms in the future. How do you feel about the prospect of mandatory student uniforms in a public school environment?

I think it’s an excellent idea that is way overdue
I think it’s a bad idea and would be restrictive for students and parents.
