Max L. Myers

MIDDLEBURY — Max L. Myers, 84, Middlebury, died at 11:25 p.m. Friday at IU Health Goshen Hospital.

He married Elaine Beehler on Oct. 2, 1949, in Zion Church. She survives.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children Nancy Myers of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and Janie (Donny) Russell of Sturgis, Mich.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at Miller-Stewart Funeral Home, Middlebury. Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Middlebury.

A private family burial will take place in Grace Lawn Cemetery, Middlebury.

Goshen City Council member Dixie Robinson is asking residents to make an effort to clean up their yards this spring. The city’s Dial-A-Truck program is available to haul trash away. Do you think there are more unsightly properties in Goshen this year than five years ago?
