GOSHEN — Eustolia “Norma” Arellano, 40, passed away Wednesday from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident south of Middlebury.
Norma, as family and friends knew her, was born Sept. 20, 1972, in El Pino, Guerrero, Mexico. She married Robert Roa Oct. 30, 2004, in Las Vegas. He survives.
Also surviving are her children, Nancy Pineda, Luzbeydy Pineda and Yvonne Pineda, all of Goshen, and Tiffany Roa and Omar Roa, both at home. Surviving as well is her mother, Paula Mora Lopez; her father, Miguel Arellano Velazquez; a sister, Tina; and three brothers, Arturo, Antonio and Fidel. A sister, Alicia Arellano, preceded her in death.
Norma was presently working for Middlebury Hardwood Products. She was a active member of Faith United Methodist Church in Goshen. Norma was a loving wife, mother and friend. She enjoyed cooking, shopping and working out.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Faith United Methodist Church, Goshen. Services celebrating her life will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church, where family and friends may gather for one hour before the service. Officiating will be Pastor John Hogsett of Faith United Methodist Church and Pastor Jim Bontrager, a chaplain with the Elkhart Police Department. Burial and graveside services will follow at Violett Cemetery, Goshen.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorials be directed to Robert Roa for the children, Tiffany and Omar, to help with future education expenses.
