Lorraine Kovar

LEESBURG — Lorraine Kovar, 85, passed away Wednesday at her residence.

She was born May 11, 1928, in Chicago, Ill.

She was married to Larry Kovar Sr., who survives.

She moved from Chicago to the Barbee Lake area as a full time resident 20 years ago. She was a member of the Shepherd by the Lakes Lutheran Church in Syracuse.

She is survived by her husband, Larry Kovar Sr., Leesburg; three sons, Kenneth (Linda) Kovar, Colorado, Matthew Kovar, Bourbonais, Ill., and Larry (Bernice) Kovar Jr., Leesburg; three daughters, Mary Ann Schmeski, Portage, Elaine Kovar, Willmington, Ill., and Laurie Wagner, Leesburg; 13 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a sister, Dorothy Lesneski.

Visitation will be Sunday from 2 to 6 p.m. at Eastlund Funeral Home, Syracuse.

Services are set for 11 a.m. Monday at the Shepherd by the Lakes Lutheran Church with the Rev. Jerry Winegarden officiating.

Burial will follow in the Mock Addition of North Webster Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Shepherd by the Lakes Lutheran Church.
