Kirby A. Kitson, 37, died at 7:45 p.m. Thursday at IU Health Goshen Hospital.
He was born July 23, 1975, in Goshen, to Bob and Judy (Beer) Kitson.
He lived his lifetime in this area. Kirby was a 1994 graduate of Fairfield High School and received a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University South Bend. He had worked at Spider Strategies as manager of product training.
Kirby loved his family and his nieces and nephews. He loved working with flowers, and was a master gardener. He enjoyed traveling and attended Nappanee Missionary Church.
He is survived by his parents, Bob and Judy Kitson, Syracuse; sister, Holly (Ben) Holden, Wakarusa; brothers, Greg (Lisa) Kitson, Syracuse, and Jeff (Brandi) Kitson, Nappanee; and nieces and nephews, Kailey, Cameron, Connor and Kara Kitson, all of Syracuse, Keaton and Riley Kitson, Nappanee, and Samuel, Ellie and Jocelyn Holden, all of Wakarusa.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Melvin and Mary Schlotterback, and Maurice and Betty Beer.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Nappanee Missionary Church Chapel and for one hour prior to the funeral service, which will be take place Monday at 10:30 a.m. at Nappanee Missionary Church. The Rev. Joe Focht will officiate.
Burial will follow in Milford Cemetery.
