ALBION — Fillmore B. Price, 94, passed away at Parkview Noble Hospital in Kendallville at 12:35 p.m. Friday.
He was born July 19, 1918 in Kosciusko County, to John and Goldie (Robinson) Price.
He married Pauline Lucille Elijah Nov. 22, 1936. She preceded him in death in 2008.
He is survived by a son, Robert (Carol) Price of Kendallville; two daughters, Rosalie (Richard) Baker of Albion and Nancy Blankenship of Rock Springs, Ga.; grandchildren, Cindy (Phil) Fisel, Robert Jr. (Donna) Price, Debby (Jeff) Shipe, Sherry (Tony) Stump, Tammy (Jim) Hochstetler, Richard (Wendy) Baker, William (Nida) Baker, Paul (Mady) Blankenship, Sandy (Joe) Waters, Roger Blankenship, Jody Perdomo and Vickie (Keven) Langley; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Mr. Price was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Lou Wint; two brothers; a sister; his parents; his wife; two grandsons; and two great-granddaughters.
Mr. Price served his country honorably in the United States Marine Corps during World War II. He attended the Seventh Day Adventist Church. He had various occupations until his retirement in 1979.
Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the 2 p.m. funeral service Friday at Yeager Funeral Home, 1589 Lincolnway South, Ligonier.
Celebrant Larry Baker will officiate.
Burial with full military honors will be in Oak Park Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society.
