MIDDLEBURY — Elmer E. Miller, 64, died at 4:41 a.m. Wednesday at the scene of a car-bicycle accident along U.S. 20, one-half mile east of Ind. 13 in Middlebury.
He was born Feb. 17, 1949 in LaGrange County, to Ezra and Annie (Yoder) Miller.
On May 2, 1968, he married Ellen Graber in Middlebury. She survives.
Other survivors include his son, Steven (Inez) Miller of Middlebury; daughter, Norma (Marvin) Nisley of Goshen; seven grandchildren; a sister, Alma (Calvin) Miller of Goshen; a brother, Levi Miller of Shipshewana; and a sister-in-law, Esther (Wilbur) Bontrager of Middlebury.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Perry Miller.
He was a member of the Old Order Amish Church and had been employed by Jayco in Middlebury for 18 years, most recently in the cabinet shop of Plant 62.
Friends may call after 4 p.m. today and all day Friday at the Steven Miller residence, 11262 C.R. 116, Middlebury.
Funeral services will begin at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the Phillip Schwartz residence, 11163 C.R. 116, Middlebury. Bishop Phillip Schwartz and the home ministers will conduct the services.
Burial will be in Naylor Cemetery, Shipshewana.
