TOPEKA — Dennis H. Mast, 33, died at 2:03 a.m. Sunday at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne.

He was born Dec. 6, 1979, in LaGrange County, to Henry S. and Frieda Mae (Miller) Mast. On May 23, 2001, in LaGrange County, he married Dora Kay Bontrager. She survives.

Surviving in addition to his wife are six daughters, Duanita, Kaitlyn, Amy, Alaina, Rhoda and Krissa Mast, all at home; his father and stepmother, Henry S. and Ella Mast, LaGrange; his grandfather, Harley Miller, Shipshewana; four sisters, Sara (Elmer) Beechy, LaGrange, Loretta (Samuel) Schrock, Topeka, Arlene (Orva) Eash, LaGrange, and Leona Mast, LaGrange; and four brothers, Ernest (Leona) Mast, Shipshewana, Norman (Nettie) Mast, Wolcottville, Leland (Norma) Mast, LaGrange, and Calvin (Fannie) Mast, Lagrange.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents and a grandmother.

He was employed at Forrest River, Coachman in Middlebury and was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.

Visitation will be after 2 p.m. Tuesday and all day Wednesday at the family’s residence, 6375 W. 600 South, Topeka.

Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, also at the family’s residence. Services will be conducted by Bishop David Miller and the home ministers. Burial will be in Hawpatch Cemetery, Topeka.

Miller-Stewart Funeral Home, Middlebury, is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
