KEENE, Texas —
Aleta Jane Frederick, 83, formerly of Elkhart, Ind., died Jan. 30 in Keene, Texas, after failing health.
Celebration of Life: Noon Friday at First United Methodist Church Mansfield. Burial: 2 p.m. DFW National Cemetery. Visitation: 11 a.m. to noon at the church.
A memorial fund has been established for the Mansfield Lions Club and the First United Methodist Church in Mansfield.
Jane Frederick was born July 21, 1929 in Kokomo, Ind., the daughter of Ralph and Helen Kaufman Myers.
She was united in marriage to Paul D. Frederick Sept. 21,1950, at the Evangelical United Brethren Church in Dunlap, Ind.
Jane worked in the banking industry in both Elkhart and later in the Mansfield/Arlington area. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Mansfield. She was an active member of the Mansfield Lions Club.
Jane was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Richard Myers and Donnie Myers; and a brother-in-law, George Frederick.
Jane is survived by her husband, Paul D. Frederick of Keene; two sons, Douglas (Michelle) Frederick of Kalona, Iowa, and Timothy (Dawn) Frederick of Cleburne; four grandchildren, Anthony (Gabrielle) Frederick of Kalona, David (Amber) Frederick of North Liberty, Iowa, Kellie Frederick of Cedar Falls, Iowa, and Jeremy Frederick of Cleburne; two great-grandchildren, Isabelle Frederick (Tony and Gabrielle) and Liam Frederick (David and Amber); and two sisters-in-law, Betty Myers and Joann Frederick, both of Elkhart.
Blessing Funeral Home in Mansfield is in charge of the arrangements.
